Day 1 – Göcek, Kocabük
Upon boarding the yacht, you’ll enjoy a “Welcome Cocktail” accompanied by your captain and crew, who will provide information about the Blue Cruise. Göcek is a natural harbor located at the southwestern tip of Turkey and is only 30 minutes from Dalaman International Airport. From the top of Göcek, you can admire 12 islands and beautiful secluded bays. Recently gaining popularity among tourists, Göcek is an ideal marina for yachts, hosting a variety of boats of all sizes. The area offers bars and restaurants along the shore, making it one of Turkey’s prominent tourism centers.
After departing from Göcek, you will sail to Kocabük for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Kumlubük, Paradise Island, Marmaris
Kumlubük Bay, located one mile from Kadırga Harbor, offers stunning views reminiscent of the ancient city of Amos, complete with acropolises, amphitheaters, temples, and the altar of Dionysus. The bay is a perfect place for walking, with colorful landscapes and excellent dining options including restaurants with Chinese cuisine. At sunset, the restaurant is beautifully lit with torches, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The crystal-clear waters make it perfect for snorkeling, and the bay is ideal for overnight anchorage.
Paradise Island features unique forests and lies at the entrance of Marmaris Bay. A popular stop for boat tours, it offers a scenic 8 km hiking trail to Yalancı Boğaz, a rocky strait named for its resemblance to the Istanbul Strait. The island has several restaurants and cafes, making it an ideal place for swimming and spending the day.
Marmaris, located in the Muğla province on the Mediterranean coast, is a vibrant port town open year-round. It accommodates around 800 boats and offers natural beauty, ancient cities, and Blue Cruise opportunities. The Mediterranean climate allows swimming even in winter. Surrounding the town are thick pine forests, plane trees, and endemic walnut trees unique to the Muğla region. Marmaris is a popular yachting hub, with diverse boats, shops, cafes, and restaurants set among narrow streets.
Day 3 – Ekincik Bay, Dalyan
Ekincik Bay offers breathtaking untouched natural beauty and is a quiet area with a nearby beautiful beach. You can take boat tours or walk along the coastal paths. A small port 2 km from the beach offers boats that reach Dalyan in about 45 minutes. The area is rich in wildlife, with banana boats and water skiing available but limited water sports facilities. The town has a few local shops and a restaurant, but no nightlife. Nearby Sultaniye Hot Springs, dating back to Roman times, are believed to have therapeutic benefits for conditions such as rheumatism, skin diseases, and liver and spleen ailments. Visiting these hot springs offers relaxation and relief from stress.
Day 4 – Gökgemile Bay, Göbün Bay
After breakfast, sail to Gökgemile Bay, followed by Göbün Bay. Göbün Bay has a narrow entrance and is surrounded by olive and pine trees. As you approach the bay, ancient rock tombs and ruins greet you.
Day 5 – Hamam Bay, Sarsala Bay
Hamam Bay, also known as Cleopatra’s Bath or Sunken Bath Bay, features tectonic formations and a crater lake visible from the hillside. Northeast of the bay lies an ancient wall, indicating proximity to the ancient Lycian city of Lydae, accessible via a 1.5-hour hike from the bay. Sarsala Bay is ideal for spending the day and overnight stays and is a frequent stop on Blue Cruises. There is only one restaurant in the bay.
Day 6 – Domuz Island, Tersane Island
Domuz Island, named for its abundant wildlife, was once home to a prince and is sometimes called Prince Island. It features numerous underwater ruins. Tersane Island, the largest island in the Fethiye Bay, is active during summer and has a protected harbor. Historically known as Telandria, the island contains many ancient ruins including Byzantine-era houses and was once considered the safest island in the area. After the Treaty of Lausanne, many Greek inhabitants were forced to leave.
Day 7 – Bedri Rahmi Bay, Yassıca Island, Göcek Island
Bedri Rahmi Bay is named after the famous Turkish poet Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who painted a fish on a rock that still welcomes visitors today. The bay is ideal for anchoring during strong winds and features oleander flowers, small beaches, and turquoise waters. Yassıca Island is perfect for a romantic night and photo sessions, with its protected shallow bays surrounded by pine and olive trees.
Day 8 – Göcek
After breakfast on Day 8, the cruise concludes around 10:30 AM.
